Dahdo Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 Any suggestions for a smaller, 2-3 person, tub with seating that is comfortable for taller people? My wife is 5-10 and I am 6-4 and it would just be us most of the time. We went shopping yesterday and tried the Nordic Stella, Birchbay BR-2 and BR-3, and the Hot Spring TX. Of the these, we liked the seating in the TX best, but at $5000, it was $700-$800 more than any of the others. Are there any brands out there that we should look at? Does that seem like a good price for the TX (it includes ozone, chemicals, delivery and setup, and cover)? Thanks! Quote

Assuming you're not just very space limited, I think you're better off with a HotSpot SX than the TX. I'd be afraid the Tx would be too confining for two tall people like yourselves and unless you're both thin I'd worry about water displacement in it when its two larger people. http://www.hotspring.com/shop-hot-tub-models/hotspot/sx Another alternative would be to see if your Hot Spring dealer carries Freeflow and check on something like the Accent, Emerald or Azure. http://www.freeflowspas.com/spas-premier-series.html http://www.freeflowspas.com/spas-sport-series.html Quote
Spa_Guru Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 The Marquis Spirit is worth sitting in to see if you fit. Body geometry can mean two people who are 6'-4" won't fit the same seat the same because one person can have a long torso, and the other be all legs. Quote
