helterskelter Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 My son accidentally stepped on the side switch on the edge of the spa, turning it on. It is not stuck in the depressed position, so I can switch it on over and over, but it won't allow the pool pump to return to normal circulating operation. I have turned it off at the indoor control panel, I have turned it off at the outdoor panel, I have cycled through all the different operating positions, I have turned everything off and on, I have cleared and reset the automated control sequences, and nothing I do resets the pool operation to "normal" circulation. Any idea how to fully reset/reboot/clear all functions or I have I done it and it's not in the panels at all? Any ideas what else to try or how to troubleshoot? Thanks! Quote
Pool Clown Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Although it may "feel" like the button is not stuck, it may be. You can try moving the "spa" function to another button and see. Quote
helterskelter Posted February 2, 2013 Author Report Posted February 2, 2013 That was a terrific idea. Unfortunately, when I changed the switch button assignments and turned the pump on, the spa came on anyway. Then I turned on the spa directly from the main panel, and the spa came on again after the required delay. Finally, I turned off the spa from the main panel and after the delay, the spa turned on again, just like before I changed the switch button assignments. Now what? Quote
Pool Clown Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 You need to determine if this a problem with the spa side remote, or the main board. You will need to first disable the spa side remote from your panel in the house. Quote
