mdutton11 Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 Marquis spa 2008 (220V). Has been running great since I baught it over a year ago (used). Refilled tub last week and overfilled it. Drained water down to proper level and turned on jets without issue- began chemical addition. Next day GFCI trips (I assume the pre-programmed GFCI test). Reset GFCI, jets came on and seemed to be all good. GFCI tripped again next day and now anytime I try to rest GFCI it trips instantly. Have tried new breaker - no change. With new breaker I have tried unplugging all plug-ins from board (pump #1 / #2), ozonator, control panel and LED lights. Still trips even with everything unplugged. Disconnected power wires from circut board and they are hot without tripping breaker. HELP!!!!!! Quote
Dan.The.Spa.Man Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 Try to disconnect heater and reset the gfci. Usually it's the heater that causes this. Quote
mdutton11 Posted January 13, 2013 Author Report Posted January 13, 2013 Tried that as well- no go. When I have someone reset the breaker there is an audible "click" from the control box. This click happens with everythng plugged in as well as with all components unplugged. Need a new circuit board? Quote
Spa_Guru Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 Did you disconnect BOTH heater leads? Quote
