Hot Tubs With Jets For Best Therapeutic Result

I am in the market for a Hot Tub and have read a lot of the posts and replies which helps but as we all know it is still difficult to choose and I will absolutely do the wet test before I decide.

So I am looking for a top of the line tub with good warranty and excellent placement of the jets for the best therapeutic result.

Are there any good recommendations out there?

I had a Hot Springs many years ago, but they did not have a lot of jest for other than the back/spine even on the newer models, I wonder why.

Neck, shoulder, flank, thigh, leg, foot and hand massage like I see some brands like Laguna Bay, MAAX, Master Spa and Marquis have. Any ideas and recommendations for top notch quality tubs out there?

Marquis, Jacuzzi, and Sundance are all good choices.

My personal tub is the "Show" by Marquis.

1) REALLY? An infomercial designed to look like a news interview and looking more fake than a plastic plant? This is the route chosen? I thought those were going out of style. You'd have to be a 12 year old to fall for this and not roll yours eyes at how ludicrous it looks. There are many YouTube videos by spa makers, I've seen good and bad. The good ones don't try to fake out the consumer; they're just there to be informative. This one requires tall rubber boots.

2) The two people in the video looked more robotic than Arnold in the Terminator movies. If I ever have problems sleeping I'll have to put on that video.

3) I love the part where they compared the Maxx to "conventional" hot tubs like these spas are unconventional in any way LOL. All they've done differently is come up with some catch phrases (some already in use by others like "Zone therapy") and pretend to be different.

4) I've never had much of an opinion of Maxx spas either way but this video reminds me of Master spas BS Marketing. Its hard to take Maxx seriously after seeing this.

Oh and by the way, if you want any credibility on this site when you are posting you'll skip using terms like "Best" in the future, you’ll get called out every time for doing so.

I personally love D1. I have had back problems for years. My back has been much better for the last year due to daily spa therapy. I have a Nautilus. The max therapy seat is great to loosen up the whole back. There is another corner seat which has two low jets which massage low back/high glutes. There are other great choices such as Marquis, Hot Springs, Jacuzzi, Sundance and Caldera. Wet test and find out which one works best for you.

A Quebec bathroom equipment and spa company taken private by pension funds and other investors in 2004 has sold most of its assets to a fund managed by Brookfield Asset Management Inc., Maax Corp. said Thursday.

The Montreal-based company had been badly hurt by the decline in the U.S. housing market.

Maax said the Brookfield unit was buying the company for the amount of its debt and trade obligations.

Filing for bankruptcy in two countries and then instead giving your company away to your largest accounts payable client has the same result.

I have been struggling for years to find a replacement for my Maxx Crescendo Whirlpool and it has been painful.  I replaced my motor twice and all 3 of my motors (2 new and original) are fried and smell like a fire is going to start in my bathroom. 

I am a savvy homeowner who does a lot of work on house repairs and major work in and out of the house.  GC's my own house with my Dad's GC license and experience.  This is big loser of a purchase for me.  I paid good money for this at the time I built my house and it has been nothing but trouble for me.

My wife has all kinds of pains from a shoulder and nerve damage, fibromyalgia pain issues, etc. and replacing motors every year is not functional or acceptable level of product success.  I have worked with their service department, which has been good at answering promptly, but the problem is they don't have a solution and there is no easy replacement of the jets or motors.  So I am stuck finding a replacement to fit the same spot and probably will have to spend $5-10K to get it done and installed.

Save yourself the trouble and stay away from buying anything Maxx related.  They need to figure out a better motor system that can handle all the bells and whistles that they promote with their products.  Bad investment.
