Supermasterpig Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 I am thinking of purchasing / making a cover lifter for my hot tub. I had seen Daves homemade one in another post and looked great but I am not as do it yourself inclined. What cover lift does everyone recommend I have no requirements for space behind the tub or anything. Also if you have made your own go ahead and post a picture and what not. If I like it I may ask for a more step by step instructions on how to do it. Sorry for not being the best handyman but if you have a computer problem I can give my fair share of a hand.Edit: Oh and Happy Thanksgiving! Quote
Ja4496 Posted November 23, 2012 Report Posted November 23, 2012 I have the cover cradle 2 and its fantastic but I'm not sure if it will work on any non Watkins product. The dual shocks are great for 1 handed opening and closing by myself or my wife. Quote
Apollo217 Posted November 24, 2012 Report Posted November 24, 2012 I like the cover mates made by leisure concepts. Have had good luck in h past with them Quote
Trigger Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 I've got a ProLift III on my caldera, It's my understanding it's made by Caldera and that's what my dealer was offering. I've had it for over 5 years and it's been great. I'd check to see if your specific brand of tub has a "recomneded" brand. As far as style goes I like the ones that have the phematic shocks on them. They make lifting a cover a bit easier. Quote
Supermasterpig Posted January 31, 2013 Author Report Posted January 31, 2013 I had seen this posting on ebay. What does everyone think? Quote
