seedlings Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Hey, hey, hey from a new member! Our 6 year old liner has a leak, and we will replace it at the beginning of next season. In the last month about 1/2 the water has seeped out already. I would like to just cover the pool to close this season, then replace the liner at the start of next season. It's likely that the remainder of the water will seep out throughout the winter (live in Missouri). In searching, most of the 'do not fully drain your above ground pool' recommendations cite that this will cause the liner to become brittle. Well, our liner is already shot, so this isn't an issue. Should I be concerned about wall collapse? If so, what could you recommend I do for this off season? Thanks, CHAD Quote
woodchuck Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 I would worry abut wall collapse. If it's not too cold yet you can use the underwater liner repair glue and maybe save money for another year. Quote
