holleydukes Posted June 23, 2012 Report Posted June 23, 2012 Trying to get our pool open and i vacuum the junk off the bottom of the pool. I backwashed it after awhile to clear it out. Well now i have no pressure at all on the sand filter valve. It has been typically running around ten. Anyways i have tried backwashing a few more times and i am now adding more water to the pool. When i have the pump on it is still returning water as normal but just no pressure on the valve. i cleaned out the filter on the pump and got out all debris. Just totally confused y there is no pressure. Quote
MikeH Posted June 25, 2012 Report Posted June 25, 2012 If there is no pressure reading on the filter and you are still getting water back into the pool, then the filter valve must be set to recirculate, thus by-passing the filter. Quote
