Clueless But Something's Not Right

Ok I'm on our third pool cleaning company and holding faith this one will keep the pool maintained BUT if someone can help me on this I'd appreciate it. Are the return jets (on the side walls) supposed to have water coming out of them? I would think so to help keep the pool water from getting stagnant, right? I've mentioned this to the pool guy and he said all is ok that he back washed the system and we are good. Well then why is nothing coming out of these jets? I'm pretty handy around the house but really know nothing on pool equipment but I do know we just had a new pump installed 2 weeks ago so that is I know working fine, thanks

There is probably a valve that controls the returns and if they are not working then no water will go back to the pool. Water drains from the skimmers and drain and goes back in from the returns. My suggestion is to start learning a bit more about your pool ans taking control. The fact that you are on your third service company says that there have been problems not being addressed.

Thanks and yes I agree. Believe me, I am trying to learn as much as possible it is just hard to find someone to come out and make the proper adjustments and/or fix what's not working. I would think they would want the extra $$ to make it, right? I kept being told the pool needs to be back washed every week, yet there still is no water coming out of the return jets. Thanks again, Im just very frustrating frustrated.
