Delgado Posted March 17, 2012 Report Posted March 17, 2012 I got a pool and spa combo there's 6 drains in pool two on shallow on wall 2 on deep end on wall and 2 on deep end on ground , the two on ground on deep end seem to work real , and I also got two more drains in spa but it doesn't look like the two on spa are picking up debri , I see little debri floating right over the drains in the spa , my question is. Do I have to turn on the spa sesperate for it will drain there , also how can I check if there is suction in either 8 of the drains Thank you Quote
Pool Clown Posted March 17, 2012 Report Posted March 17, 2012 All other drains on the walls are probably for a water feature. Do you have fountains or waterfalls? Floor drains in the spa only work when in spa mode (as you guessed). And wall drains in spa are probably where your jet pump gets it's water from. Quote
Delgado Posted March 19, 2012 Author Report Posted March 19, 2012 Oh ok that makes sense I do have a water fall , and just now switched the pump to spa and it started to suck up the debri thank you , now I'm interested in buying a sweeper but an undecided which one , I was looking at a electric one like the dolphin , or Polaris 380 I heard good things about as well , or separate pump booster was an option too , being that I don't know why my vacume line has no pleasure , what's a good sweeper that will save money in the long run and at the same time do a good job cleaning and brushing my pool , even if I have to come of the pocket now for a REALY expensive sweeper but save me later , please help did not know purchasing a sweeper was this much head ache thank you Quote
