I have been unable to use my Hot Tub much lately, just a few times in the past couple weeks. The Bromine level has maintained 4-5 PPM, getting down to 1 PPM prior to adding a couple tabs. How often should I shock if low use? I have not shocked for at least two weeks. Is this acceptable?

You should not need to shock if you haven't been using the tub and have maintained the bromine level. Shocking with chlorine in a bromine tub is mostly to get rid of some of the bather waste that bromine alone isn't able to handle so that's not an issue if you haven't been using the tub.
