newfierocker Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 I Just set up my pool for this summer and I have no problem adjusting chlorine, PH level, etc... However Prior to folding up and storing away my pool I sprinkled talcum powder all over the pool liner to absorb moisture as recommended in my intex pool manual. So now obviously upon filling my pool again this year it is horribly cloudy. I'm guessing I should have at least tried to vacumn (with a regular vacumn) the talcum powder before filling pool with water. Is there any way at all to get rid of this cloudiness without draining my pool again? Or, I wonder will it eventually clear itself up with regular pool pump/filter and regular pool vacumning? Quote
poolgranny Posted July 7, 2011 Report Posted July 7, 2011 Have you tried a clarifier to see if it would settle some of it so it could be vacuumed easier? Quote
