I would like information or feedback on whether a vinyl lined pool OR fiberglass pool is the way to go. Suesan you mentioned having your fiberglass pool reparied. Would you recommend a fiberglass pool in the North East? I've looked at pool companies and they all want between 25K-35K for the pool & installation (without electrical, without fencing). I can buy a pool kit online with delivery for about 8K. I know an excavator who will dig the hole to spec for $1200. Does anyone have experience with install your own strategy? Is there a company that will simply install YOUR pool? I have been researching a lot about inground pools and now I've overanalyzed. I'm hoping actual consumer advice will help me get things right.
