Gonna Start Up My Marquis This Weekend

My brand new Everyday 660 has been sitting under my gazebo while it's been getting painted/fixed up. I had problems with my cover lifter (bad batch of plastic brackets) that finally appear to be resolved. It has been pretty hot here in sunny, So Calif for the past few weeks. So, I haven't really been that tempted to get this thing going until now. I don't want to wait any longer because I'm burning up warranty time and fall is coming soon.

So, any suggestions on the best way to fill it and get the water up to snuff?

Your hot tub manual should tell you exactly what you need to do to set up your hot tub and how to fill it. As for getting your water up to snuff, I don't know what kind of system you intend to follow, i.e., chlorine, bromine, or salt water generating systems (SWG). If you've got a salt water generating system, then I would follow the recommended procedures that came from the manufacturer for your particular system. If you're using a chlorine system (e.g. non-bromine like Dichlor), I would recommend following Nitro's Dichlor/Bleach program. If you're using a bromine system, refer to Waterbear's bromine system procedures. I have the link for Nitro's Approach to Water Maintenance below. Unfortunately, I do not have the link to Waterbear's bromine discussion or procedures. I'm sure you will be able to find it if needed by using the search engine on this forum. Good luck.

They gave me a Spa Frog with the spa. I think it's a bromine system. I also have an ozonator installed.
