ellebworks Posted July 27, 2010 Report Posted July 27, 2010 Hey guys. In the market for a spa and the Coast Spas Mirage and Cascade have caught my attention. However after looking into it further i have come up with mixed reviews. Does anyone have either of these models, and if so what was your experience like? I do not want to shell out 10K for a tub that breaks, has problems, and/or warranty issues a few years in. Help! Located in Bay area, CA Quote

Located in Bay area, CA From my experience as a Coast dealer they have been a good company to work with and i think they make a quality product. Make sure you are comfortable with your dealer as they are the ones that facilitate the warranty. What version of the Mirage or Niagara are you looking at? Quote

Located in Bay area, CA I admit this forum had me questioning my decision to buy the Coast Cascade Niagara but after doing a google search on all the top brands to see what issues befell all of them I became a lot happier. As long as you research your dealer and are happy with him/her then I believe you are safe with all of the top brands of which Coast are one of. BTW, this advice is true for all of the brands, the dealer is the most important link between the manufacturers commitment to you through parts and warranty and your happiness with your tub. **** dealer service to you generally means they also have a **** relationship with the manufacturer which equals heartache for you the customer. Located in Bay area, CA You live in the bay area and you are looking at a Canadian spa? why? for a swim type spa look to hydrospa with Jacuzzi just up the road from you i would look there first.their are alot better spa and closer to home than one of those spa's buy at home support your home economy keep our money at home not in a different country Quote
footie Posted July 31, 2010 Report Posted July 31, 2010 While David's opinion for sticking local is very American, but you also need to know that David is an employee of Jacuzzi so has personal interest in you chosing that brand. I think you shouldn't blindly chose any product based on where it's made because in the end it's you who has to be happy with that product for years to come, chose the brand from the dealer you have most faith in and will offer you the best service because between all the top brands I don't believe the quality or standard of the hot tubbing experience will differ greatly.
