mattsasso Posted July 27, 2010 Report Posted July 27, 2010 I just got an above ground pool off of craigslist and installed it myself. I watched all kinds of vieos before doing it and being handy I felt pretty confident. However, because I used the liner that came with the pool I had to line up the holes that were already cut for the skimmer and jet. The skimmer seems fine but the liner has sagged just out of reach of the jet seal. \What do I do? I don't want to empty the whole pool because I think it might just happen again. I have considered patching and recutting the whole area around the jet or maybe trying to find a jet with a larger flange. The liner is only one year old so I also don't want to replace it. Someone lend some advice. what do I do? Quote
britinusa Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 You cant reuse a liner, they stretch when you first fill with water on a new liner and when they have been drained and removed they can become brittle plus you have the problem you are having, the liner could stretch too thin in some areas and split.
