The filter has been running fine, with the exception of shooting a small amount of sand into the pool after backwashing. I went outside today, and the pump is operating normally, but no water is being sucked through the skimmer basket, and no water is being returned to the pool. Any ideas? Thanks Quote
Mark Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 What is your filter pressure normally and what is it now? If it is higher than normal, the filter could need a backwashing or require some other maintainence. If it is lower than normal, the impeller or suction side plumbing could have a clog. If the filter pressure is close to zero, then the impeller may have broken off the motor shaft. But when you say no flow rate, do you really mean absolutely no flow rate? Quote
