I'm trying to figure out how to properly diagnose my Auqapure 1400 ... the problem is a bit unusual. The system is no longer producing chlorine. The "power on" light comes on, however, none of the other lights come on (except I've seen the 'cell reversing' come on) and the system is not giving me any error codes.

Any suggestions on how to figure out the problem? Thank you.

What does the unit say the salt level is?

I believe it was 3200ppm.... I'm not sure though (the unit is at another house). I'm going to check voltages today - I'm not sure what that will tell me. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

When you go to check, also, turn the pump off and remove the cell from the plumbing and inspect for calcium build up. Do you know when the last time the cell was cleaned? And how old is the unit?

Not sure if my 1400 is doing the same thing. Had it serviced and cleaned about 3 months ago when the sensors went bad. I don't seem to have any chlorine in the afternoon. It's pretty hot here, about 100 degrees a day and I know the sun and UV chew through the chlorine. Maybe need to up the filter pump time. I'm at 3.5 hours a day which was fine last year.

You can bump up the time you run the pump, or raise the percentage on the unit. I would recommend running the pump longer. 3 1/2 hours seems a little short for a run time in 100 degree weather.
