waterstruck Posted July 3, 2010 Report Posted July 3, 2010 Hello all, I am thinking about installing one of the above ground pools that can be put totally in ground, ie Radiant Metric or the Fox Ultimate, and was wondering if there are any preferences using D.E or sand filtration? and then which brand Hayward or Pentair for D.E. and or sand? Why do you care? Clear water. Yeah sand works, so do cartridges. Sand works better dirty than clean. And cartridges can't be backwashed. But if it were me, go DE (no rhyme intended). Quote
