Raidan Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 Hi to all ! I am new to this site and if someone could help me - it will be great. I was away for a little while and my friend decided to clean the filter with hydrochloric acid so he poured 30 liters hydrochloric acid(40%) in... The filter is for a 150 cubic meters swimming pool and the pool is around 100. Then he Rinsed the filter only for about 20- 30 seconds and let to to circulate. The PH is 7.3-7.4 and the chlorine level is 0.6-1.2. So i am asking is there acid in the water and if it is what should i do ? I want to thank beforehand. Quote

PaulR Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 Your pH is fine so the acid did not particularly harm the water. I wonder about the filter, though! --paulr Quote
