The pump (which is also brand new) works great for about 1/2 hour, then slows WAY down after that. The filter is hardly dirty at all. HELP! Thanks! - Tracey Quote

Some pumps are programmed to start at a higher speed (to ensure prime) and then slow down for regular filtration. Quote
