mom of boys Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 We're moving to Roseland and want to put in a fiberglass pool. We've talked to Joe Ordini (Bristol, PA), Waterworld (Hammonton, NJ), and are also looking for some in north NJ to give us estimates. I'm worried about the reputation of any of these guys since it feels like I'm shooting in the dark. Does anyone have a recommendation of a reputable pool company? I'm researching the above mentioned, but references are always what helps seal the deal! Quote
TimeWrap Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 I would recommend Joe Ordini he is been in the business (himself) for 30+ years and still going strong I think he installs San Juan and they do turn key jobs... Water World is been in business for about as long too and does turn key jobs only in NJ, Either way with both your going to get good service, but I would recommend Joe he is really a good guy unlike alot of fakers in the business, Joe will give you good workmanship with no BS aside unlike some manufactures. wsommariva Posted May 18, 2010 Report Posted May 18, 2010 We had a San Juan pool put in in 2008. Our installer was excellent! We were swimming in about eight days! Artistic Pools, Cinnaminson, NJ, South Jersey. We live in Mount Olive. I did find their electritian a bit lazy, but qualified and their work passed all inspections. Contact Mark Peditto at 609-352-7069 and check their website. Quote
pooltech9 Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 I had a 16 X 32 4.5' flat bottom "sport pool" installed by Waterworld last year. The pool and installation went flawlessly. We enjoy playing volleyball in it, hence the flat bottom. We got the tile border and hydrotherapy jets in all of the "margarita seats". We had people who were actually in it and thought it was an expensive gunite pool! Don at Waterworld had this installed in 1 day, we filled it and were swimming the next day! Check out thier website and you'll see what I mean. Quote

The name of his company is Best Fiberglass Pools and he installs a product manufactured by Viking Pools LLC. Joe can be reached at (215) 788-5532. Quote
RiverPoolsMarc Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 Hi Mom of Boys, it appears you're getting bits and pieces of info here. This is an involved process and it's also a one-shot deal, as you likely already know. I've built our blog to help people just like you to make a sound decision. One thing is for sure, manufacturers and builders will tell you what you want to hear, which is why you need to talk to pool owners directly, no less than 25 references is acceptable in my opinion. Best of luck to you with this process and feel free to email or call me directly with any questions if you're unsure of a manufacturer. Best- Quote
BruceWayne Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 My experience with Water World was great, I know when I did mine they were first doing turn keys, now I believe they do a few states turn key. Anyways, we did one of the larger pools, the 16 x43 with an 8 foot deep end, should have gone with 6 foot like they recommend, we use shallow end so much more. I felt great dealing with the, I got to take a tour of the factory and see how they were built. Everyone was great to me, Don Tallman the owner to their services manager Mike whom set up my start up for my pool once completed. They team of guys that came, work in a way that you could tell they worked together often and had the experience needed to get it done quick and right. Give them a call, go see them, it was pleasant and I enjoy my pool. We're moving to Roseland and want to put in a fiberglass pool.
