Purchased Fiberglass Pool In Michigan

I have been just reading through these posts for the last several weeks and I want to let you all know that it has helped me out so much. I finally purchased my new swimming pool last night, we went with a smaller pool company, they are pretty close to us in Ray Township. They were not the cheapest quote and not the highest, but very knowledgeable about the installation.

It seems we did go with a product manufactured by Viking but not the ceramic core line, thanks to research provided here. I will let all of you know we did our homework on who we are working with and they have a great name here with past customers, not only them but the companies they also have involved in our project. We feel very confident in this purchase and I will keep you posted on our progress.

I too have been lurking on this site and have found some great information. I was able to make some choices on options and what to stay away from. By any chance did you purchase your pool from the pool company in Chesterfield. I was just wondering it sounds like it could be the same company we purchased from. They were very knowledgable and we checked out about 9 references and viewed 3 jobs they were involved in, the customers had great things to say about them. My husband was very impressed with them they caught some elevation differences that 2 other companies missed and didn't bother to add into their quotes, we called the township and were told that we would definately need a wall on the back side of the entire pool. Did you do a salt system? We are contemplating adding this on and was hoping I could get some opionions and information on this site about them. I too will post and update our status. Our pool is scheduled for the 2nd week in May, we are so excited. Any comments are welcome on salt systems.
