Raiden Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Hi guys im new to this forum, I own a fibreglass pool at home fairly average size, i have just recently painted it and turned out great. I am now filling it back up with tap water and was wandering is it ok to just swim in it as is for a while before i add the chemicals? I live in New Zealand Auckland and I think the tap water is pretty decent. Thanks in advanced for the replies Quote
Dreamscapes Pools/Design Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Did you say you painted the fiberglass shell? I would add chemicals and wait to swim. The tap water is not harmful until it heats up and bacteria begins to grow. This does not take long in your climate Quote
