I have worked on this pump 3 different times first I installed a main shaft seal then the gasket for the seal plate. what else can make the seal plate leak if i installed a new gasket, im so sick of this pump and losing money can someone shed some light on this issue, wish it was a wf, can the seal plate be bad or the valu... thanks for reading

Can you see exactly where it is leaking from? I realize that thing sits real close to the ground Maybe you can take a picture.
It's a chlorine generator! Not a salt water generator (SWG)!

yea it leaks on the top of the left and right side of the seal , and with a new gasket , that things is a nasty one to put on!

You don't think you are over tightening the bolts do you? the seal plate gasket could leak if it were over tight (warping the plate)
Is the system pressure higher than say 25 or 30? If you had a valve closed and the pump was dead headed, it may weep some water.

the pump is old so yea it could have a warped plate, I back washed it that day too, which part do i need the plate or a new valu? thanks for answer this question

You could have crimped the gasket.
Also, sometimes the metal bolt receiver will come loose from the plastic housing and cause a leak.

You can't manage what you don't measure. Get a good test kit. I recommend the Taylor K-2006 for chlorine or the Taylor K-2106 for bromine.
