BradnerBoy Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 Spring reveals more than dog sh*t buried under the snow, it also reveals a severely cracked outer shell (PVC?) on my Titan TI IV's water heat exchanger. Since it's the weekend, there's no one around to call, so I thought I'd throw it out to the group to ascertain just how screwed I am. This unit has only seen a single season and I suspect it may be ready for the dump. Quote

The one with the pipes is the inlet/outlet header and the one on the opposite side is the return header. Get new new gaskets also Quote

Get new new gaskets also It's the inlet header, as well as the entire length of PVC pipe containing the heating element. I've added some screen caps from the video I took of it. The inlet/outlet header is severely cracked. The second and third pictures depict this. Quote
