PoOLEnc Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 Do they come in specific dimensions or are they all custom made to fit your pool/patio? How much more for a two story vs. one story? Are there kits to do it yourself? Quote
iwallace Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Do they come in specific dimensions or are they all custom made to fit your pool/patio? How much more for a two story vs. one story? Are there kits to do it yourself? I don't know the answer to that either, but I just wanted you to know that someone read your post, and a screen over the pool sounds like a really great idea. That ought to keep a lot of the debris out and the hassle of cleaning to a minimum. Although, an automatic cleaner would take the hassle out too. I'm not sure of the price comparison between screen and cleaner, but the Polaris 3900 is roughly 140 bucks. I don't know, it might be worth considering. Hope that helps. Quote
waterbear Posted October 29, 2013 Report Posted October 29, 2013 Screen enclosures (attached to the house) are pretty much standard here in Florida and a two store one (which I have on my house) is more expensive than a one story one because there are higher matierial and labor costs. They are not cheap, running in the thousands of dollars, since they are considered to be part of the house and have to withstand severe weather (such as hurricanes). However, the usefulness of this info is probably moot to the OP since they posted this in 2009 so this is basically a dead thread. Quote
