Captain Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 I have a Hot Springs Model Highlife K Spa. Water does not heat. Breakers have been reset, Red Heater reset button has been reset- still no heat. How hard is it to replace the heating elements? So hot here that I don't need heaters yet but... Thanks from the Carolinas. Quote

How hard is it to replace the heating elements? So hot here that I don't need heaters yet but... Thanks from the Carolinas. It's hot here too!! Be sure the water temp is below 90 or the heater will NOT reset. To get the heater below 90 - if the tub is over 90 - shut off the power. Open the door to the motor compartment. Come back in about two or three hours, and of course, it can't be over 90 degrees outside either. Reset the heater, power up and see if that fixed it. Too hot out to get the heater below 90? Power off, put the garden hose in the filter compartment and wait until the water in the filter compartment is cool. Power on for just one minute. Touch the heater to see if it is now cool to the touch. Reset it. HTH Quote
