seligman Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 Diamond Creek is an absolutely horrible company. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemies. Problems we had: -Virtually no management oversight -Incompetent management -Incompetent employees -Incompetent sub-contractors -Employees showing up unannounced demanding payment that wasn't yet due -Employees (subcontractors) showing up unannounced to do work BEFORE the previous inspection had been signed off -Employees (subcontractors) showing up unannounced in unmarked vehicles, who I'd never seen before, and none of them spoke English -Failure to show up and do work as promised (MANY times!) -Failure to obtain proper City building permits and inspections as needed (MANY times!) -The electrical contractors they use are idiots. I came home when they were wiring the indoor remote and found a 12" by 12" hole in the drywall to run some wiring. I've done similar projects with a 2" by 2" hole just fine. -They also installed the electrical control panel directly in front of the DE filter, which makes servicing of the filter extremely difficult. The DE filter is also up against a wall. And lastly, most of the employees had terrible things to say about the company and its management, frequently referring to it as "Diamond CRACK". Quote
mary1234 Posted August 18, 2009 Author Report Posted August 18, 2009 Have you had issues with Diamond Creek Pools in Chino, Ca??? We can not get final inspection and our slide looks terrible. They have no business building pools! Please post your comments here. Ok everyone...we got our final inspection in April of 2009. We made our final payment and we thought we were done. We've had repair after repair made to our slide. To date it is still not correct. The sealer that they used is STICKY. It's a slide. We should not stop midway down. Diamond Creek is now saying that in "good faith" they tried fixing the problem but now our warranty is over and they will not be back. How is it possible that a warranty is over when the slide was NEVER done properly? Please be sure to NEVER use Diamond Creek Pools. It was the worst mistake we ever made. They sent out a salesman. Who was very nice. He brought out his daughter, which we have now found out is part of his pitch, he sells the company. He did a great job at it too. We beleived him. Our mistake. Don't let our biggest mistake be your biggest mistake as well. DO NOT USE DIAMOND CREEK POOLS!!! Quote
