  1. Bought a new 350-gallon hot tub about 2 months ago. Dealer set me up with Brilliance chemicals. I am using bromo tabs in a floater and keeping it 4-6ppm and adding oxidizer twice a week. TA drops due to bromo tabs but I keep it 60-100ppm. I raised my CH to 250ppm. My issue is my PH will rise to 8.0+ every day. I will add 3 teaspoons full of ph decreaser every day to drop my ph to 7.5. Water is crystal clear and Odor free. I have an ozonator that runs twice a day. We were using the tub everyday but lately maybe once a week. So not getting lots of use. Do I need to change my levels to try and keep the ph down? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. The wall outlet is a GFI outlet. Like you install in bathrooms. Has the trip and reset at the outlet but is on a normal non GFCI breaker. The breaker it's tripping now is a 50amp GFCI. When I hit the blower button it will run for a second before tripping.
  3. I have a 1999 Morgan Dayton spa that I just rebuilt. When I got it from my parents he told me the blower was not working. While rebuilding the frame I took the spa pack out and took the blower off. Plugged a pigtail into the connector and plugged it into the wall outlet. Worked great. When I was done rebuilding I filled up the tub just to check for leaks. For the fun of it I hooked the pigtail back up and had the blower running for about 5 minutes. But now that I have my #4 wire run as 220V when I hit the blower button blower will run for about a second then trips the breaker. The spa pack was replaced 3 to 4 years ago from spaguts.com. Is it the blower going bad or the GFCI going bad? Or the control board? Is there anyway to test this problem.
  4. Thanks for the links for the parts. Do you have any idea why I would have water coming out the air venture valve? Also my jets should pop out and should be able to tighten up on the jet body faceplate to stop the drip? Is there a special tool to use to tighten up the faceplate?
  5. I acquired a 1999 Morgan Daytona hot tub for free. The entire frame was rotted is why they were getting rid of it. I got it home and flipped it over and rebuilt the frame. The spa pack had been replaced a couple years ago and is still working fine. When I got it filled up with water I found a few leaks. One was the drain is dripping which is not a problem. Just going to get a plug and stop that one. The other is from the end of an air manifold. Water is coming out of a black fitting on the end of the air manifold. Is this a check valve? How would I fix this problem. The other leak is from a jet or two. Only a drop every 30 seconds to a minute. Will the fix a leak stop this drip? Also I cannot find any info on this tub. Dont know the specks or part numbers for stuff like the filter. Anywhere to look online for this type info?
