I moved from NJ where we had a salt water pool, and a sense and dispense acid feeder. We loved the salt water feel of the water, and reduced chlorine. We did have some issues with the acid generator and maintaining pH though, and it was somewhat caustic on the pool coping and concrete deck.
Now we have moved to California, and in the process of finalizing a pool build as well as the sanitizer. The pool will be an in-ground, gunite with a pebble tec sheen finish. We have a son with asthma and want to minimize the chlorine.
Several pool builders are recommending a paramount ozone generator, UV system and in-line chlorinator. Anyone have feedback on this type of configuration ?
Thanks !
