iWeb
At the start of pool season we had a company come out and reset our vinyl liner- it had come off due to the crazy amount of snow we had this year and runoff seepage in the spring. Just last week we were hit with a lot of rain- a few inches in just a few hours. The next day we see the liner has again broken away from the pool. Are there any solutions for getting a better seal on the pool to protect it from seepage? We're already going to have to run the expense of draining and re-filling the pool again in order to reset the liner. If there's anyone with suggestions, I'd love to hear them! LinerMFGr
Hi iWeb, I've heard of people overfilling their pools when they expect a lot of rain and have ground-water problems. The idea is that the pressure from the inside of the pool will be greater than the back side of the pool liner keeping ground-water at bay. If that doesn't work, you could ask your pool guy to invest in <member's website link removed> to save the expense of refilling your pool. There are ground-water mitigation techniques which your pool guy should be able to help you with. It is something that is normally done when the liner is being replaced.
