  1. THANK YOU very much for the reply. I ask, because two of my tiles have "poped" off, and there are some minor gaps. My patio shifted 4 years ago. I have two cracks that run to the pools coping bricks. They went to the joint of the coping bricks.( Yes I have expansion joints, but these cracks went east to west/ not north to south) Some of the grout has "poped" out there. Been that way for 4 years now. I'm finally getting around to fixing it. The grout in the tiles are dirty, and some places cracking away from the tile just a little bit.
  2. Between the top coping stones that edge over the pool, the tile under that.
  3. My pool is 6 years old. The tile on the top boarder need to be grouted. What is the best method? Do I need to drain the pool? Is there a special grout/morter? Thanks.
  4. Thank you. Thought maybe I did something wrong. Even thou it's hard to do that. It is a very simple operated device.
  5. I just installed a new pool cleaner. It is a EION Model Number: 130098 It is very similar to the baracuda's. Any way's do these cleaner's move in a backwards direction? From the angle and shape of the fins I thought it would go in that direction. But when it's running it goes in the direction of the hose(where the hose is connected to it) Does this make sense? Can you understand what Im trying to describe. Thanks...
  6. For some reason the pic will not show. Questions? 800-772-0467 This is there #.
  7. Daanbc, could you please post where you got the cell? That is a very good price. This would be a great resource here on the forum as these cells are no longer produced and the advertised replacement is pricey. Sure, I replaced my old chlorinator cell with the new jandy. You cannot get the old "square types" anymore. I tried. The one I did find wanted $500! I purchased mine from "POOL SupplyWorld" on the web- Jandy Aquapure PLC700 PureLink 7-Blade Cell Kit - Up To 15,000 Gallons Product Not Yet Rated Be the first to review Price: $369.95 Model Number: JDY-PLC700 Manufacturer: Jandy
  8. I just replaced mine 5-days ago. Had the same codes. Mine was 6 years old too. Put the new cell in, and they were finally gone. My cell didn't look bad either. I cleaned it and everything. But it was still throwing the codes and not producing chlorine. The new cell cost me $369.
  9. Thanks, just was unsure about the fins in the cell being a little off/tilted. They show in diagrams that it can be placed straight up-down or straight position.
  10. I just replaced my 6 year old Cloramatic 2 prong cell with a new Jandy Aquapure PLC700 PureLink 7-Blade Cell. This cell is much bigger then my old one (width size) The sensor could not be placed in a straight downward location. It was hitting the cement pad. So I installed it a little cock-eyed to one side. Will this do any damage to the cells or sensor? My old screw in type sensor was placed in the same direction, but the cell was straight. Any thoughts? By the way, after plumping the new jandy in, and turning everything on = no leaks and it works great so far = producing chlorine....
  11. I have a Tracker 2, It is 6 years old, Stays in the pool always, runs 4-hours every day. (2- in the morning, 2- at night) It is finally wearing away to nothing so I am looking for another. To me this cleaner is the best. I only replaced the rubber wheels 3x, and replaced the plastic fins twice. For the service I get out of it I think its great.
  12. They say I will need to replumb because the unions on the new cell are 2 1/2 inch and my old is 2 inch. Has anyone ever done this installation?
