  1. Spa Guy- You need to get the facts straight 1. D1 is NOT Trade certified yet by Spa Search...(D1 is a good spa, they have many of the awards that Master,Hot Springs and Sundance have won). 2. Their spas do have the highest rating from spa search (as do 8 other including Master Spas). 3. D1 did win the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur award as did Master... 4. The Inspire award is the highest honor you can win in our Industry. Given by the then... NSPI now it's the APSP... 5. D1 has not won the BBB Torch award, neither has any other spa manufacturer yet...but there is next year 6. The Blue Chip Business award is given for excellence and growth in a tough economy. 7. Dr. Gadget is an expert on the latest innovative products and is seen on many TV programs including NBC Today, EXTRA!, GMA, The View... There are many other awards that Master has won... I'm not saying D1 is a bad spa. I have serviced many of them... I have actually serviced more Sundance, Jacuzzi, Caldera Spas and Hot Springs Spas than Master Spas... You and a few others think your opinions matter more than established credible organizations...Consumers Don't... That's probably why Master keeps selling more and most spa cos. sales are off 50%... By the way, we are not affiliated with Hot Tub Brokers...We have sent some customers their way. We make our money fixing spas... You guys are bashing Hot Tub Brokers, but they are selling many spas and have for 5-10 years...
  2. o.k what is credibility here.i guess he is calling me out...what a shame...... 1. D1 also 2010 Certified Trade Award.....whoa....you got me there!!!! 2. our dealership is a 2010 Certified award dealer...ok thats 2 you are on a roll!!!! 3. BBB grade a local area,oh i believe D1 earnesd that also....man your killn me... 4.same thing i also believe Marquis, Sundance, Hot Springs have all won that one... 5.Ernst & Young entrepreneur also won by D1...still with me.... 6.sorry don't know what blue chip award is....ok i give you that one on forfeit.... 7.Dr who i read him once, did you get that because he bought Master. i did not know he did survey and checked all high end brands. 8.Consumer Digest Best Buy, (Master was the only company with D1, Hot Springs, Jacuzzi, Marquis, Cal Spas, Clearwater)..did i need to keep going 9. Thats because your high end manufacturers have better things to do then to show each competitor there secrets.... ok you win on this one... 10.More certified dealers than anyone else, i took a quick look , i was getting tired i think there were 2-3 manufacturers ahead, but dealer certified is not the brand , the only way to be audited for certification is a ceritified brand. its put more on the dealership. standing with trade groups, referals, clean store, and espresso stand in your store helps. could not resist needed to laugh..... 11. D1 won Stevies award, business award, oh they beat out microsoft for that. 12. D1 featured high end product in Robb Report. 13. 2004 exporter of the year (San Diego) 14. would you like me to keep going. 15. i bet Hot Springs, SUndnce,JAcuzzi, Marquis to just name a few can do the same thing. Term,Spatech,Dustin i could not help myself. on the credibilty call here. obviously spatechwetbehindtheears on hear has not read enough of our posts. Term and Spatech have a lot of posts. if i did not sit back since i started on hear in 2006 i would have more posts. i started posting because of the b.s like spatechsince1979 throws around and questions credibilty, has he not seen the thread about him and spabrokers..
  3. You guys crack me up...You say that you don't like Master because of the past and present??? I Stated Facts about them winning awards... Master Spas have won... 1. 2010 Certified Trade Award from Spa Search 2. 2010 Certified Spa Award from Spa Search 3. The BBB Torch Award for Business Ethics 4. The INSPIRE AWARD given out by our Industry-The Hot Tub Industry's highest award!!! 5. Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 6. The Blue Chip business Award 7. Dr. Gadget's Seal of Approval 8. Consumers Digest Best Buy Award 9. Discovery Channel Chose Master Spas to show everyone "How It's Made" 10. Master Spas have more Certified Spa Retailers than any manufacturer... That's more credibility than the stuff East TX, Dustin, Spa Tech or Spa Guy make up and consumers can see through it. You guys get an A for creative writing...
  4. Where is that coming from? If memory serves me right I think last month you may have had issue with someone not being a fan of Coast but how does that equate to using a wide brush on the people on this site. For myself, I have many posts on this site. When someone asks for a suggestion for what spas I like I mention about 6 brands, not just 1 or 2. I may think there are a handful of top spas and I also may think there are a few to avoid. As far as what is being said about Master, thats due to their past and present actions. Have you been to one of their shows? Did you look over that fraudulent website they created to dupe people?
  5. No Brian 1973 not same service co. why are you guys so threatened by the www.hottubbroker.com website. Those prices seem about right.
  6. Yup, same Fort Wayne, Ind address as Master in the warranty section. I wonder what's up with the Maryland address you see on the main page? Did they buy a small spa maker there or is this yet another Master trick? I wonder if Brian1973 is just SpaTechSince1776 in disguise (both usernames were started within 2 days of each other)?! At least he didn't suggest that hot tub broker web scam he was touting a couple days ago.
  7. Caldera and Master are nice tubs...Check Hot Tub Broker.com to see pricing
  8. The Spa Guy, I have a few local dealers in the area. One has "Master Spas", and the sub company models. BTW, over the top on pricing. Another has the Sundance, MAAX (Coleman), to be honest, by the time the traveling salesman was done, I was confused as to who really made the spa. (but to be sure, in order to get a GREAT deal, I had to purchase it that weekend, as he was on a flight back to South Carolina the next morning. I couldn't take the pressure, so I left. And lastly the Caldera, Hot Springs dealer. I did like the Tahitian, but he priced me out. Said that they offer some good financing products. Problem is...I have a budget i want to stick to. IMO I can wait. I'll just save up some more cash, till I'm ready. On the other hand, I just don't want to be ripped off either. Thanks, USNGRL
  9. You keep forgeting to say "in your opinion as a dealer of master" I don't have the same opinion as yours, to many high energy use complaints here. And I am not alone. And I am sure there are other dealers like you.
  10. 2010 Winners? Are we supposed to believe that the other 90+ spa companies all tried to be winners but failed? You'll notice Jacuzzi/Sundance are not on that list. Did they both not make the grade like Master? Of course not, they're owned by the same company and must have chosen not to pay to be included; Master chose to pay to be on that list so they can point to it as proof that their reputation is changing. To each his own. Why is it that there are 9 brands on that list but the ONLY people I've ever seen tout that list as proof that their product is good are the Master apologists. I've never seen the Arctic, D1, Hot Spring, Marquis... people on these forums even once mention that "winners" list as their proof that their product is worthy.

  12. Roger, Spa Guy, Stuart, Kreg, SpaTech(The Real/unreal ones?),Hot Tub Dan and others... Thanks for your opinions...Let me ask you guys...What's the best car?, pick up truck?, hamburger? Hotel? Airline? Movie? Song? Website? I am amazed at how many posts some of you guys have the time to post. I come to this site for a little insight, info & comedy relief. I come here when it's raining and I can't service spas. It amazing that some of you have so many posts... In the last year I have have serviced over 1000 spas for over 20 different manufactures and 25 different dealers. I have talked to the owners of these stores and their sales staff. I asked them how many spas have been sold or customers that have read these posts...One sales person said he sold a replacement cover...THAT's IT...Most the salespeople said that the site is a lot of service guys or sales guys bashing each other... I asked about SpaSearch ratings and here is how they are done... 1. A Spa manufacturer has to sign up to be approved. There is a minimal cost to be certified, just like with UL, ETL,Consumers Digest etc. 2. Spa Search's goal is to give an incentive to all spa manufactures to build better products by giving them the results so they can build better spas in the future. 3. Spa Search employ a 3rd party that calls hundreds of spa owners from all the spas that the manufactures have in their database at random and ask the following... A. Overall satisfaction B. Would they recommend to a friend C. Appearance D. Quality E. Reliability F. Ease of Use G. Comfort H. Value I. Product Knowledge of SalesPerson/Dealer J. Professionalism/Dealer K. Installation and delivery provided by Salesperson/Dealer Out of 100+ Spa Manufactures...Here are the 2010 Winners Arctic-Cal-Caldera-Clearwater-D1-LA-HotSprings-Master Spas-Marquis Spas....That's it for now 9 out of 100+ The Master rep showed me that they had the highest Quality,Reliability,Overall satisfaction ratings over everyone. A Hot Springs Rep showed me that they had the most Knowledgeable salespeople... A D1 dealer showed me their details... A manufacture sees the high scores, low scores and average scores. Then they see their exact score and they know where they fall in. They showed me these documents. You all might want to ask your manufactures that you sell or service to see their rankings. Consumers Digest is not as detailed. They ask a lot of questions, contact dealers, consumers and service providers. I have been contacted by Consumers Digest 3 times and asked questions about the brands we service. Consumers digest reps were at the Las Vegas Aqua show a few years ago looking, interviewing dealers and manufactures...If a manufactures spa wins a category...they have to pay a license fee to use the Award logo in ads... So if any consumers read this...you can contact Consumers Digest or Spa Search and verify this info... Also if any spa shopping consumers actually read this...I WOULD GIVE 100 TIMES THE WEIGHT TO SPA SEARCH or CONSUMERS DIGEST results over any opinion on this forum...Get the fax ask to see their rankings... Got to go..it stopped raining...
  13. My experience is based solely on my repair experience. Sure I have my favorite brand and a favorite model but that's for me. Customers out of warranty talk to me about their experience no matter what brand they buy or have owned. I am NOT in the NFL I am in my own league so keep selling them Kreg. Matter of fact start selling them in Northern Minnesota. They don't seem to fair to well up here and they sell so many down in southern Minnesota. But I don't think is substance that sells tubs down there, it's more about flash.
  14. I'd choose the sundance first... D1 second... Arctic 3rd... Wet test them and you'll see why...
