  1. Thank you guys. I do check this forum for info and it's been great. One of you said 50% of the cost of the spa was doable, so that's what we shot for.
  2. Well $5k is still a little higher than the market normally would pay for a 3 yr old Catalina with no warranty (certainly more reasonable than $6k which you were obviously flexible on) but you had nothing to lose by asking high and you found the right buyer so good for you.
  3. Thanks for all the replies. Spa is sold. Told you it was a good spa For how much? Details would be interesting. DK117 $5000.00

  5. Those numbers are valid. But I'm not in an area that will weather out a spa. It's well kept, used occasionally for back aches and for fun. Doesn't scratch easy. If I had the space for it, I'd keep it. But could not figure out how to build around it.
  6. Catalina XL 16000 - roomy, feet jets - great all around spa
  7. What location are you in? I have a Catalina Spa that I'm selling. Top of the line. Might want to check it out if you're going to buy a new one.
  8. You can buy a lot of cheap spas for this price. Not a quality one.
  9. 3 year old spa Catalina XL Spa for sale in San Diego, CA. I-15 & 56 area. Very comfortable, top of the line a few years ago. Seats 7 - 8, 92x92x45. Strong, rotating jets, cd/am/fm and pop-up speakers. $6000.00 or best offer. Please reply back to this post if interested. Original cost $10,000.00
  10. I'm in the San Diego area and have a spa for sale. It has great power, jets are placed in the right spots and seats are comfortable. It will be 3 years old this month. Seats 7, has cd/am/fm and pop-up speakers. Listed on Craig's List as well. You can contact me thru this forum. I hope I placed it in the right place. $6000 or Best Offer.
  11. Thanks Trumpy, I'll keep that in mind. Anyone else you'd recommend?
  12. Hi all, I am putting in a pool and I really do not like the pool spas. I like my Catalina Spa because it has the jets in the right places. Do you guys know of any pool construction companies who have incorporated a spa into the design of a new pool (keeping in mind that a built in spa may take it's place down the road) or is it just too much of a hassle to try to get the things you want together. Also, any recommendation on pool companies and why you'd use them again would be great. Also, any questions that should be asked while interviewing pool companies. Do they all do designs for free? What is the average cost of a pool and slide & grotto now-a-days. Thanks for any help you can give me.
