Gunite Slippage And Failure On Spa Addition

Recommended Posts

Please help!! We are having a spa added to our existing pool so the contractor cut out about a four foot section of our pool in order to extend the spa into the pool. As the gunite people poured the spa and the wall into the pool, it collapsed at the bottom into the pool. Has anyone ever seen this before? We are trying to figure out if they fix it, will it eventually crack and should we demand for them to totally pour it again or try to get a longer warranty?

Thanks.....Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
