SGSmith
I have an in ground pool in Tempe, AZ. The house is 40 years old. We bought it last year, don't know how old the pool is, but it's an older one. It's a concrete/plaster pool with a thin fiberglass shell. The shell was cracking when I bought it. So some questions. 1. What's the best way to fix the cracks to limp it along for another season or two until we have the funds to refinish it? 2. The local pool store has the epoxy putty that you mix together, will that work? 3. No matter how well I patch it, it's not going to be water tight. I know this. How much harm will this cause the concrete/plaster structure? 4. I have already drained it to patch the bottom. Got that done and when I saw cracks developing, put water back in as quickly as possible. Thanks for your time. -S
