  1. So in answer to the original question, Our infinity Sun Peak is doing fine, we are loving it, it is holding heat and there is no significant increase in electric bills. Just curious, what state do you live in? Maryland

  3. What I dont get is how would you be able to hear the TV with jets going full force? My favorite show and sound is the birds.
  4. Carpenter, what model do you have? Have you informed Infinity about the poor service that you are getting? If not they need to know because they contract with your local spa stores for service and perhaps they need to change services in your area. We only had some minor issues when we first got our Sun Peak and Infinity was right on it.
  5. Thank you Richard for your VERY thorough explanation. Have you considered changing your name to Chem and Physics Geek?
  6. OK the reason I must like water so much is the feeling of weightlessness. (Who wouldnt?) In considering the amount of total weight for tub placement we are asked the dry weight of the tub, the water weight and the weight of the soakers. Tell me how that works when we feel weightless? I think I must have too much time on my hands folks!!
  7. All the way out to get access so you can remove the drain cap for draining. All the way in during normal operation so no one trips over it. Half-way in while actually draining. The tub won't drain if pushed all the way in or all the way out. HTH, Ken Ken, I understand what you are saying but ours keeps popping all the way out. When you push it in do you turn it at all to lock it?
  8. The lounger is directly in front of controls across. We barely had enough wire but it did work.
  9. We also have a Sun Peak by Infinity. The service panel is on the side where the lounge seat is. You have to remove the whole panel. I cant tell you where it is mounted but I can say that we placed or tub on our deck, which we reinforced, and drilled up under the deck for the wiring. Be sure to tighten all fittings which sometimes loosen in travel. We had leaks because our fittings were loose but were not aware of that so we had our first service call right away. By the way we love our tub. Also, if you are in a cold climate you may want to further insulate. The drain is at the foot of the lounger or under the filter area.
  10. Is the drain spout on Infinity Sun Peak supposed to be fully extended while tub is operating? We keep pushing it in all the way so that it is not inadvertantly subject to someone breaking it by tripping or hitting it with their foot. Once the pump goes on it is pushed out all the way. Anyone else experiencing this?
  11. I know nothing about this tub or company but in my research for a smaller tub for the future, the Artesian River Ridge looks very interesting. It apears to haveample jets for therapy as well as 3 distinct seats without getting tangled up together. You might want to have a look.
  12. Michelle, pumps are supposed to operate with the cover on. Thats how the water heats up and stays warm with the insulation that the cover provides.
  13. Ok so I am really trying hard to maintain my ph and alk levels. I have several brands of test strips and even using 2 versions of same brand. I get different readings from all. Is there a reliable test strip out there or should I go another route? Help!!!
  14. Since Artesian has been mentioned does anyone own the three person River Ridge? This looks very interesting.
