  1. Thanks for the advice. I forgot to mention that I did actually do that a few times and the highest reading I received was 98. (I will check it again tonight though!) If in fact it is the thermostat on the spa, is there any type of adjustment I can make to it? I searched the forums and it seems like a relatively good option would be to add in a resistor to the thermostat wiring. I would rather explore other options first before jumping to that.
  2. Hi all, I am new to the forum and hot tubs in general. My fiancee and I decided to purchase a 5 year old Solana TX spa. We plugged it in and filled it up and its been running for about 2 days now. I set the temperature to 104 and when I went out to check it yesterday the control panel said "ready" above the 104 temperature. The water was hot but not "hot tub" hot. The thermometer I purchased continuously says ~92-95 degrees. I raised the temp to UT-4 and I will wait to see the results. My questions are: 1) Am I just not waiting enough to see the spa reach its upper limit? 2) Can this little spa not keep up with the cold temperatures outside? 3) Possible thermostat/ heater issue? 4) Any other suggestions? Thanks!
