Hi everyone, I am looking at purchasing a hot tub, usually it will just be my husband and myself using it, however there will be times, about once a month, where there will be 5 to 7 people using it. We have a Jacuzzi dealer whom just opened up and another place that has been in business for years that sells Arctic Spas and Coyote Spas. I am looking seriously at the J-365, although I still need to go and look at the Arctic Spas and Coyote in person. (and of course wet test them) Anyway is anyone on here in Canada, I am wondering about the cost of running the spa through the winter? I am in east central alberta where it can get quite cold (-30c) although the average is probably around -10/-15. I did get a price quote from the dealer however the coldest temperature they have listed is +10 c. Cost for the J-365 is about $10,000.00 canadian. Honestly I was thinking a hot tub would run about $3000 to $5000...but maybe I am looking at a Cadilac instead of a Ford?? Any tips and pointers for a newbie would be appreciated?
