  1. Congrats on the pool and I'm glad things worked out for you. The issue brought up by many people on this board is that they did bring their pool issues up with Wave Tec and didn't get the problems resolved.
  2. I've heard good things about Platinum as far as the pools they build. I think they're a little more expensive than other builders. Just make sure you and your hubby look like you have money and tell them you're ready to dig next month. My wife and I didn't exude either trait and we were politely brushed aside. The sales guy also quoted us 45 to 60K without even coming out to our house when every other builder was telling us 35K. They have a showroom somewhere on the west side - eldridge maybe? It's amazing how one bad salesman - and there are many in the houston area - can taint your perspective of the whole company.
  3. These were pics from Rusty C. I forgot they were on here and I've since deleted them. Sorry
  4. GMy Webpage Check out the photogallery page. I wish I new how to write the code for the slide show. Any web guru's out there?
  5. There were a couple of "Pro" WaveTec posters, but I haven't seen them in a while. There are MANY dissatisfied WaveTec posters. I don't think you're gonna get a ringing endorsemnt here for Wave Tec.
  6. Does his profile say he's a man searching for a man. Why don't y'all ask his wife about the online dating thing?
  7. He's not a grossly deformed individual. He probably has a fair share of money from all the people that's been screwed. Why internet dating? He lives in the Austin area - there are tons of <35 girls there. Just curious..
  8. Thanks ChrisA. If they build a good pool they don't owe me anything. They've really done a great job so far. I've read all the horror stories on this board about "when good pools go bad" and I just wanted to document as much as possible of this process. I can't wait for it to get over and return my back yard to some semblence of normalcy.
  9. Copy it and E-mail it to me. Send me a PM if you need help. I'll get it on here. Somebody catch that man! he's smuggling grapes...
  10. This is the pic I found. Maybe he has some other posted. I didn't want to register. I can't have my wife asking questions about why I'm registered there. If anyone does register - just for the pics of course - I'll post them.
  11. Not really. It's just been a few days with no Wavetec updates.
  12. Here's the tile and coping pics. I was hoping for the flagstone to be a little darker. Is there anything I can apply to the flagstone to make it darker? If not - I'm OK with it as is. pattonpool.com
  13. Thanks Topnurse. I came to this set looking for details and pics of the process and couldn't find much out there. That's one of the reason's for the website. The perimeter of the pool is 90', the spa size is 7 ft. and the pool depths are 3.5 to 6 feet. I'm not sure about completeion, but the tile and coping guys are here today and the electrical is scheduled for monday. Seeing how we just started on Monday 7/10 I'm real pleased with the progress. Look for some updates to the site later today or tomorrow. I'll have the tile and coping pics up.
  14. After months of reading this forum, we finally got started. Monday we excavated, tuesday, rebar and plumbing and wednesday the sprayed the gunite. Anyway, heres a few pics from my website I'm putting together. pattonpool.com
