  1. I have heard that the best water temp is either 103 0r 104. That is the temp that the pores on your body open up and the toxins start flowing out. I was told that when you lose the toxins you have more energy. Anything under that and you are just sitting in hot water. I found on my old spa that I could stay in an easy hour if the temp was at 100. When I set it at 103 I could just stand it for 30 minutes. I am told that is plenty of time to be in hot water. Come to think of it I have spent days in hot water but thats another story.
  2. We just purchased and LA spa after months of looking. It hasnt been delivered yet but it was in our price range and the wet test was wonderful. We cant wait. only 2 weeks to go.
  3. Robin, we bought the Heet with the 32 jets. We added a couple of waterfalls. We did get the lounger because the wife really liked it. It does not have the ultra water management, but does have the ozonator. Store added the steps, cover and lifter at no cost. We paid less than 7,000. Hope that helps. Oh and delivery set up and orientation was all included. They even came out and looked at my patio to make sure everything would be ok upon delivery.
  4. After wet testing the LA spa my wife and I loved it. The seating was perfect, the jets were perfect and the salesperson was very helpful. So we purchased our SPA. The next 3 weeks are going to be a killer. everything is ready. Patio is ready the electric is ready and We are ready., I'll keep you posted.
  5. Rika thanks for your input. we looked at the Superior spas today. I wish I had more time but was on lunch. I plan on going back when I have more time. I liked the bang for the buck. They seemed to be made pretty well. We looked at the Malibu and the Santa Barbara. Wife likes the chair in the SB. Couple of questions for you. Do the jets have plenty of power? I plan to wet test (wife wont, something about wearing a bathing suit in a store LOL) and what kind of surface did you have it placed on. The pro rated warranty bothers me just a little but if they are made as well as i think they are it should last for many years. Input? OKC
  6. anyone have any opinions on the LA spas? Looked at some today and wondered if they are as good as the salesperson says. While Im at it if you have any opinions on Catalina Spas as well as Superior Spas. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  7. Ok so I now know that it can be done with a little work and several friends to help me lift when it is time. Can i do this in a couple of months when I drain the tub? Will the spa being unlevel hurt anything for an extended period of time? Is it bad for the spa?
  8. Here is a question I hope someone can answer. I have a concrete slab for a patio. It is pretty good size 15.5'x18' it is about 8" thick. It is a good slab and was the perfect place to put a spa. I thought it was pretty level which it is, however when we filled the spa you could see that the water was a little higher on one end. im wondering is there a prefered way to level a spa on a fixed slab. I obviously cant level the slab and feared that if I raised one end of the spa a half an inch it wouldnt be sitting flat on the slab. Im a spa newb so any info on this would be appreciated. Does it need to be perfectly level or is a half an inch ok?
