Twinturbo120
I have a hayward super pump with a max running power of 2hp. It doesn't turn on. At all. It doesn't hum or anything. This pump has two capacitors, the one on top and the one in the back cover, which one is the "running" one? I'm 100 percent sure the impeller is free of debris because I just rebuilt that part of the pump.
brettnolan
Are you certain that you have voltage to the pump?
Twinturbo120
Are you certain that you have voltage to the pump? To the pump? Where the three cables connect?
Twinturbo120
Welp, I replaced the capacitors, even wired the pump direct from the breaker and it still won't run.

Twinturbo120
bad motor... Well, at least I don't have to buy the whole thing. Only 181 bucks for the motor. Thanks for the help everyone =)
