Matthewsbj1 Posted April 24, 2014 Report Share Posted April 24, 2014 I am going to be putting in a pool this sumer that is going to be 40' by 20' and is going to be 3' 6" deep in the shallow end and 10' deep in the deep end. I am going to have an automatic pool cover for the pool. I am also going to have an ozone sterilizer to take the place of chlorine (tell me your thought on this ozone thing). My question is can I have a pool filter rated for 175 sq. ft. if I have a cyclonic filter right after the pump from Water Co. (Multicyclone 16)? Or do I need to get a pool filter rated for my pool even though I have a pre filter trapping a lot of the contaminents before it comes in contact with the cartridge?
