  1. Sounds like water mold. It is very common! We recommend using a Chlorine to kill it. You can get that at your local dealer. Add in enough Chlorine to get it above 5 ppm. Run it in the tub over night then drain and refill. You also want to chemically treat the filter with a filter cleaner & degreaser. If you really want to make sure you get all the junk out you can use a line cleaner. We recommend Spa Purge but any line cleaner for a spa will work. It sounds like you take good care of the water but just sometimes the mold shows up. Good Luck!
  2. When we move spas we don't set the tub on the equipment area. Typically one side. Also use a shop vac to really suck out the water of the lines. Using a sump pump will remove majority of the water but there is always some in the lines too. Enjoy the new to you spa!
  3. Be careful with picking it up. It could void your warranty. The price isn't too outrageous, depending on how many chemicals you are getting and the brand of steps. Try asking for another $500 off.
  4. The plus of using a Hot Spring Cover is that you know it will fit your Sovereign. Also you can add on one of their cover assists which are the easiest to lift! As for the lift, if you get a factory original, I would suggest the UpRite. That has not clearance needed for the tight spot you have it in. Tub looks great!
  5. Most local pool or spa stores will carry pH Decreaser. They offer it in different sizes. Most spa sizes are one pound. You can also find the same great products online too.
