  1. Let me start by saying thank you for the quick replies. I was able to get in contact with a representative with Spa Marvel and he helped to realize that I was not running the filter cycle long enough to rid the tub of harmful agents. Since speaking with him the tub is now crystal clear and the chemical levels are in check. Just a word of gratitude for Spa Marvel The rep. told me that in the worse case scenario I would need to drain the tub and start over. Spa Marvel would contact my spa supplier and give me, at no charge, new Spa Marvel chemicals to get my tub ready. That was very generous of them. He told me they wanted me to be happy as a user of their product and would do whatever they could to make my hot tub experience a joyful on for me and my family. It seems these days that there is a lot less of these actions where a company stands behind its products with no questions asked...they just want to make life long customers.
  2. So we recently got a hot tub, used, from some friends. I used spa marvel cleaner just as the instructions says for cleaning. Filled tub and added spa marvel treatment. Took sample to pool store and got readings... TA 80 PH 7.8 Bromine 0.6 I was told we were good to go. First my daughter, 10, got the rash. A week later me and my wife get the rash. I checked the water today, one week after testing at store, with an Aqua Chem tester with the drops and got readings.. PH 7.2 Bromine 0.0 I am using 1" bromine tablets, and cleaning filter, once a week for a 300 gal hot tub. Any help would be much appreciated. I am asking here because the pool store is closed for the holidays.
