  1. Hi all, It's earwig season here in Canada. Last night we noticed several of the little creatures both in and around our tub. That quickly takes most of the pleasure out of what was otherwise a nice soak. What are other folks doing to combat these pests? Thanks
  2. We bought a Jacuzzi J 365 after looking at the J470. The J470 was a little to rich for my blood. Nice looking tub mind you, but expensive. We are very pleased with our J365. We were quoted just under $9K cnd for our tub, and the J470 was substantially more.
  3. Hi all, I'm looking for a cover lifter for our Jacuzzi J-365. We want the cover to sit low and to the side of the tub. On the Jacuzzi site they show a Covermate I and a Covermate III lifter (these both sit high when the cover is opened), but no Covermate II. Will the Covermate II fit a J-365? Is this a good quality lifter? Can anyone suggest another good quality lifter that will fit a J-365 and sit low when the cover is opened? Thanks
  4. I was surprised by the crane too. The dealer explained it was about the same cost to rent the crane as it was to get 6 guys to my house to carry the tub into location. I've had a couple of requests for pictures at night with the tub lit up. I didn't have a tripod, so there is a little shakiness in the pictures, sorry. I think they are clear enough to get the idea however.

  6. I waited to 100 F before I went near it! The kids were braver though. These pics are just of the initial setup. I have no photos of the tub with water yet. I'll post those when I completye my setup.
  7. I love the light package on this. I know lights are just eye candy, but I like the way the drinks change colour with the tub. I haven't got any night photos yet, I'll post a couple of those and some pictures of my final setup when I'm done. Here's a link that has a few photos of the crane and putting the tub in place. As to the cost, I was quoted just shy of $9000 cnd for the tub.
  8. Well we finally did it, they delivered our J-365 this afternoon. We're still waiting on the electrician and I'm REALLY hoping he can make it tomorrow. Pictures will follow once I've got this all together. Thanks to all for allowing me to lurk through your posts and learn from you.
  9. We're in Canada, and our prices tend to be higher than US from what I can see. The quote included an Ozonator, Circ Pump, Cover, Chemical Starter Kit, Delivery to my site, and start up instruction. - $8900.00 We considered the 345, but the 365 seemed to have similar inner workings to the 470 (which we loved except for the lounger and price tag).
  10. Thanks for the response, that was exactly what I was hoping to see. I just got the quote back from the electrician and now I'm waiting on a quote from the concrete guy for the pad. We're hoping to be in our 365 within a couple of weeks.
  11. Hi all, We’ve been looking around at spas for a few months now and are seriously considering the Jacuzzi J-365. I’m wondering if anyone else in this group has this tub and what their experience with it has been. Also, I’m in Atlantic Canada and I’d be very interested in hearing from any other Canadians with this spa regarding their operating costs during our cold winter months. Thanks in advance.
