  1. Filled it up tonight and fired the system up. Everything is perfect, no leaks, heat is up and the pump is great. Thanks for the help.

  3. Hey guys, first time poster here. Looks like a great community you have here! I have an older hot tub in the house we bought. Last winter, we had a fitting fail underneath the tub and drain all of the water out. Both the heater and the pump were powered up and on when the water leaked out. We were on holidays; so we really don't know if the tub was empty for an hour or a week. Anyhow, the question I have; do the pumps and heaters normally have a low water switch that will turn the pump and heater off if they don't sense water? I am looking at getting the tub going again; and I don't want to fill it with water only to find out that I have to drain the system to replace the pump and heater. Pump is a grundfos 2 speed.. Can't see the type or model. Heater is a balboa vs series. Thanks for the help everyone.
