lrossi444 Posted April 11, 2014 Report Share Posted April 11, 2014 I have a continual problem with little critters living in my hot tub. I'm not sure what to call them: worms, bugs, or what. They like to live under the cover and on the edge of the water, but they don't live in the water. Here are some pictures: http://s96.photobucket.com/user/lrossi444/library/ They are small, about 1mm to 8mm in size, and they seem to multiply quickly. If I kill every one I can find, in a few hours they will be back. I am not sure where they hide, possibly inside the cover or on the ground nearby. I thought they were gone this winter with a cold snap we had. I had drained the tub, and we had a few weeks below freezing. When I refilled the tub they were gone, but now that warm weather has arrived they have reappeared. Help! They are apparently harmless but are disgusting, and I'm tired of squashing them. Any ideas? Well, it's starting to show some cracks, so it's not entirely sealed, but there is no zipper for me to open it. It might be time for a new cover.
