lagreca
Can I substitute liquid chlorine for bleach in the dichlor/bleach method? I understand the strength would be calculated differently, but is everything else the same?
chem geek
If by liquid chlorine you mean chlorinating liquid as from a pool or hardware store, the answer is yes you can use that. You just use less in proportion to the concentration and can use The Pool Calculator to make that calculation. Of course, be very careful since like bleach it can easily bleach out clothes or spa pillows if you pour it concentrated on any such items.
