Desiree
Just refilled hot tub for the first time using the Dichlor/Bleach method. Only thing that is off is CH. Can I use a household product to raise this or do I need to hit the store for Calcium increaser. Hot tub is 325 gallons and current CH is 50. Thanks in advance! chem geek
You can use Dowflake (calcium chloride dihydrate) or Peladow (calcium chloride anhydrous) if you want, but it's usually easier to get Calcium Hardness increaser from a pool or spa store since you don't need that much -- just enough to get to 120-150 ppm to prevent foaming.
